Scaletrains Number Board Lighting

How do you get Scaletrains number boards to light up? I'm fine with ditch, headlights but not with other lighting. Your help would be appreciated. thank you.

Did you hardwire the RP module to your model? Or are you using the existing board attaching the module using the pins?
