I am getting one of the rapido RDC which is being done up as the CN inspection car, but I am wondering if I should get the sound unit, since they are authentic sounds, and id i do that, can a railpro  mod still be put in and use the current sounds on the rdc

I am not aware of any way to transfer sound files from a DCC decoder to a RP module. Even if you could, there would probably be legal issues. Your only option would be to find another source for those sound files and load them into your module using RailPro Assistant.
