Scaletrains Reefer cars
« on: October 04, 2024, 09:03:37 PM »
Hello yall, hopefully everyone is doing well. I was wondering if anyone has converted the scaletrains reefer cars to battery operated sound due to poor track rolling. I would be open to convert my 4 cars if anyone has an Idea to how to do this. I have never done something like this or have knowledge of doing so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Orlando

You could probably just add a keep-alive to them.

I have some and I love the cars.  But I realized that I actually don't like the sound option at all.  I found it obnoxious and monotonous, plus it was annoying when it cut off and on over switches.  So I'll probably just cut the wires to the speaker so I can still have the lit control board.

Hey Orlando, I can install batteries for you on your cars if you’re interested!
