Full load current setting with traction tires

Hey gang,

I have not been able to find this in this forum...how does one go about setting full load current on locomotives with traction tires?

That's a really good question. You've pretty much only got two choices, you can try the normal way by holding back the locomotive and using the auto set method, and if that doesn't work you'll have to set the full load current manually using your best judgement.

Would it be the same a normal loco if you just remove the traction tires for the test ?
