RailPro Installation Service

(1/3) > >>

JamesS:
I'm looking to get my first loco installed with a RailPro LM-3S decoder and LED lights added.
Since DCC installation services are more prevalent, I'm trying to get a list together of people doing RailPro installs.
If you know of service that does, please respond.

Thank you.

G8B4Life:
I don't know of any places that offer RailPro installation as a service but any place that installs DCC could install RailPro quite easily.

If no one here knows of a place that offers RailPro installation I'd ask Ring Engineering themselves if they know of any. If nothing comes up it couldn't hurt to ask if someone here could do your first one, or you could approach a place that does DCC installs and ask; all they'd really need is a CI-1 to test the install with (you could load sounds, lighting effects, pictures later by yourself), and you could provide that along with your loco etc at the time of install. Convincing them that they'd need to download and install the HC Simulator for the CI-1 would probably be the hardest part.

Try Traintekllc.com.  I talked to them last year and they were very helpful.  I believe they sell and install Railpro.

Thank you.  I will contact TrainTek.

Yankee Dabbler will install RailPro in a locomotive you buy from them for a modest fee. I'm not sure they will do an installation in a loco that you provide, but a phone call to them wouldn't hurt.
