William Brillinger:
Tim, how about you post what you have and the rest of us will eventually fill in the blanks?

The form itself is the easy part, that I can do. It's writing PHP for it to safely drive a MySQL backend (a database for those that don't know what MySQL is) that is the trouble. I'd like to learn but oh so little time these days :( and I don't think I'll find a ready made solution anywhere.

Bill, that might not be a such a bad idea. I'll have to see where I got up to and also get the new individual button pics as well. Let me go digging...

I can help you there providing you aren't in a big rush.

Thanks Alan.
Much appreciated. I do have all the buttons in spreadsheet now which I'm populating with what information I know. My 6 point plan is this:
* Populate the spreadsheet.
* Post the speadsheet.
* Users review and send back any missing or corrected information.
* Collate reviewed information and repostThen if required:
* Populate a MySQL database with the spreadsheet information with applicable front end.
* Ask Ring to review and populate missing information and/or correct information.
While the database with front end is more complicated and therefore more time consuming for us I think it'd be the easiest and less time consuming for Tim Ring than asking him to download and fill out a spreadsheet..

I think a spreadsheet on Google Docs would be sufficient. I don't see this as needing a database of it's own. It's over complicated.
Otherwise, ONE email for each question would be easy for Ring to reply to and keep track of without needing to navigate outside of the tools he has open every day.
Once we have the list ready, I'll be happy to ask Ring for the answers we're looking for.
