Is there a particular reason for your interest in this unit. $16.00 is about average for what new no-name units sell for. This one is used although it is a brand name device.

Alan, no, there's no particular interest. I don't want to spend $50 a copy for the Digitrax version. Any stable power supply would be fine with me.

Is there an easy way to take the barrel plug on the DC output to a two wire situation?

Yeah, cut it off and strip the wires. That's not a snarky response. It is simply that easy.
