Really strange problem / fix

Dean:
Thanks for all the replies and information. I will remove the lead and use aluminum foil.

Alan:
What's wrong with the lead. Adds weight. That's generally a good thing.

G8B4Life:
Indeed, the LM-2S's and 3S's I have don't have the shield.

LM2-S no shield.

The omission surely can't be a manufacturing error as it carried over from old product to new product.

TwinStar:
This might explain a problem I had almost three years ago. I had a LM-2S equipped unit pushing a flat car that had a GoPro Hero 3+ on it live streaming the feed to my phone. When the GoPro was streaming the LM-2S was unresponsive. I hadn't thought about that until now.

Dean:
The lead is thick enough that it makes the LM-3 stick up above the frame. I would like to keep it below the frame to ensure the body fits right.
I am going to try to get some pictures.
