Looping horn trouble

<< < (4/5) > >>

William Brillinger:
try to find 1 complete cycle of the loop and then trim the sound to the " zero crossings"

I find the best loop I can using the repeat play option and move the selected section out until it sounds good.
Then I make a fade from the segments before and after the section I looped so it meshes naturally.

Pizzapizza:
Yeah I’m done  trying to get this to smooth out if you want to give it a crack let me know where to send the files to I have two of them a K5LA and Nathan p3  they sound amazing to me I just can’t get them to make a good loop.

Alan:
Not an easy task, is it? Gives you a renewed appreciation for why it is taking Ring so long to roll-out new sound files and why he is so picky about what recordings he accepts. The devil is always in the details.

Pizzapizza:
I’m hoping maybe Bill can help me out the single sound files are really good just got to get Them to better.

William Brillinger:
John, you can email them to me or upload them somewhere I can get at them to download and I'll take a look!
