Small Diesel Installs
« on: July 11, 2018, 10:52:27 AM »
How would you recommend installing Railpro in smaller HO locomotives like Spectrum GE 44 tonner and the Walthers ML-8 Plymouth?  I think a N scale module would be the solution, right?  It really would need to have a keep alive built into it though, a small surface mount keep alive would be great.

Thanks,
Dan R.

Dan, that would certainly make it easier if there were an N-scale module.  I'd be surprised if Ring isn't designing one right now.  He always wanted to get the G-scale modules first because Railpro + large scale = match made in heaven.  Now that that's done, my guess is he is exploring design options for N-scale and/or developing a keep-alive solution using surface-mount components.

If he successfully does an N-scale module I'm willing to bet it will be wildly successful.  Lots of N-scalers have said they'd be all over Railpro if they made a module in their scale.
