Title: Handheld unit stuck
Post by: rsmproductions on July 13, 2023, 12:07:53 AM
I can't seem to get the front or back headlight buttons our "Front Dim" or "Back Dim".  And the only choices are On/Off 1 Second, Brake, or Ditch.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Richard

Hmmm, the word "our" is throwing me off so I'll try to cover it anyway.

- Make sure the Dim light effect is actually loaded onto the module your trying to work with. You can do this by going to delete files > light effects on the module in the HC and seeing if it's listed, or just copy the Dim effect to the module again; it'll just overwrite it if it's already loaded onto the module.

- Make sure your using the correct button pictures for the Dim effect. It's been a long while since I've had to look this up and I can't be especially bothered doing that right now (it's way past sleeping time here) but the buttons guide here on RPUG shows which button it is if your unsure.

- Make sure your using the right button type, select the Dim effect and then select which output wire the effect controls.

If none of that helps then please do post more info on what you have programmed into what buttons.
