Title: Dead rail batteries
Post by: Dean on February 08, 2022, 12:16:46 PM
I was wondering if anyone has purchased batteries and battery chargers from  Remote Control Systems.   https://rcsofne.com.

I would like to try a battery-operated train but don't want to get burned buying the parts.

RCS is a member here. They have a very good reputation regarding RailPro and dead rail, talk to them, I don't think they will steer you wrong.

They sell MTO batteries.  I use those too.  I get mine from a different vendor only because he is local to me.  Don Sweet is very nice and knowledgeable.  He has helped me several times with questions.
Have Fun!

I'll include my vote for RCS New England / Don Sweet.  He has been very helpful and has supplied most of my RP modules and all of my batteries.  I've had great luck with the MTO battery packs. I have one that's 5 years old and still going strong.  Previously I've had pretty poor luck with the cheap packs from China.
