Love it.  The SD70ACe-T2 sound file is one of my favorites.  And that horn is excellent.  Your own recording?

Thanks Kevin! I wish it was my own actual recording. It’s a recording from YouTube from the Katy played on a single loop since I suck at trying to make an actual horn😩

Making good horn loops is crazy hard.  So I respect Tim Ring for putting together some really nice ones.  That must have been a huge file for the horn you used!  But it sounds awesome!!

100% agree with you! I’ve tried sooo many times and spent too many hrs on audacity trying to make some decent sounds with nothing to show for.

Here’s another shot from another side of the layout where I finished building a small yard and a station.

Very nice install. I too like the horn.  Will you share the file?   I have made several horn files.  Very few loops have worked for me.  I wish there was an easy way to demo them before going through all the exporting and importing.   I spent hours on a whistle but it ended up sounding lousy.  I’ll end up trying again.
