Title: How many AR1's are needed for 2 reverse loops

Do I need one AR1 for each reverse loop
Any problems installing the "BYPASS" track and how do I gap those rails*IMG_20160328_0003.pdf

Here is a link to the manual for the AR-1.  You will need 1 AR-1 for each reverse loop.

If you include the bypass, then your reverse loops are actually not gaped correctly, they should be gaped as shown here:

Thanks much for the quick reply -- the bypass was an afterthought after I started laying track and knew I could count on the forum for advice.

Bill is correct. You need gaps at both ends of the loops but exclude the bypass because it is not going to change the train's direction.
