Title: Not sure if HC2b is updating to new release

I downloaded the HC2b update twice, both times finished and showed "Ready". Now on the boot page there are two round icons saying Forward/Back and Horn/Whistle.

The Program on the Adjust Settings page is SW1045 2.29

Is the program really updated to 2.5?

No it is not updated correctly. Mine shows SW1045 2.50  and doesn't have those icon artifacts.

I noticed that the HC-2b update has disappeared and is not able to be downloaded. Only the HC-3 and older non b version HC-2 updates are there. It shouldn't be possible as far as I know but did you try and download the old HC-2 update to your HC-2b?

You'd probably best be served by contacting Ring and asking "what's going on with the 2b update?".  With the update having disappeared the two scenarios are the disappearance is a mistake or there is an issue with it and he's taken it down until it's fixed.

Happily, it updated this morning, and yes, HC2b was offline overnight. It's back now. I cant tell operationally if anything is different, but some of the error messages are different and more informative as to the problem
