Title: RPA Virtual HC

Trying to install Virtual HC on my computer and when I hit the install button I get a message that says " Error Could not create directories ". Be forewarned that when it comes to computers I am absolutely crap. I do very well with pictures and being shown what to do and am very good at following direction ( when I read ). Any assistance would be deeply appreciated. Also note that RPA is installed on the computer and it is V.4.01.

Did you run the HC Simulator installer as administrator? Right click on the installer and select "Run as Administrator". The installer needs administrator privileges to create directories in Windows.

You should have had to do this when installing RPA as well.

a common thing that is often misunderstood...

"run as administrator" is NOT the same as running a program while logged in as a local admin (either the actual "administrator" login or a login with administrative privs)...
