Title: Large Scale C-19 - A different approach
Post by: JRad on December 05, 2020, 06:13:31 PM
Prior to purchasing RailPro I was using a 2.4Ghz system with a Phoenix sound card. I'm a sound nut, so I replaced the small stock speaker with an enclosed oval speaker salvaged from a sound bar. This required removing the tender weigths and circuit boards. It was a complicated install with 4 different components plus battery. By comparison, my RailPro install is much simpler, nothing but an LMS-3-G was need to implement all of the locomotives features.  It worked out so well, I did a second C-19 with the same speaker and RailPro configuration.

Here are some install photos before putting the tender shell back on...

And some screen shots of the simulator showing the buttons I set up...

I'm happy to answer any questions about this install.

Just for comparison...  This is how it looked with the old system. Even with good wire management, it's a rat's nest!

To say RailPro simplified this installation is an understatement!
