Title: user-created prime mover sound

I am installing an LM into an RDC.  I found a short sound clip of an RDC online.  can I create that and load as a prime mover sound file, or will I need to load it as a horn or bell sound?

You could create a looping sound with the startup and shutdown as the loop start and end, and the engine running as the loop. This would be loaded as a custom sound and you can assign any name & picture you want. Because it's not an actual prime mover file it will not spool up or down with the throttle.
