Title: LM-equipped loco as voltage meter?
Post by: ON28 on December 15, 2021, 04:03:46 PM
I saw a video comparing the RRampmeter and ordinary multimeter for measuring DCC power; I get the inaccuracies of the latter. My question is: How accurate is the LM3 readout for track voltage? Does that measure exclude lights and sound, or include the full power used by the LM? I have used an HO loco to locate dead spots and low voltage in my track, so it seems to work for me in that context. Thanks in advance!
