Title: LM-3S in the wild
Post by: William Brillinger on June 30, 2016, 01:16:59 PM
It has not been listed on the Ring Engineering site yet, but today I received my first stock of LM-3S modules.
http://pdc.ca/rr/catalog/product/railpro-and-accessories/51

I have very little detail about whats new about them other than that one of the input leads has been converted to a common lead and they have increased memory capacity. I believe they are otherwise functionally the same as the LM2. The pricing is also the same as the LM-2S.

Dimensions:
L 1.502" x W 0.700" x H 0.256"
or 38.12mm x 17.77mm x 6.53mm

May want to inform Tim there is a misprint in the LED current statement. 120mA would make one very bright LED for a fraction of a second!

Here are the official details about these new units so far:

From Tim Ring:

Here is a link to the Instructions PDF from Ring: http://ringengineering.com/RailPro/Documents/LM-3Instructions.pdf
