Title: New Member in Oregon
Post by: cdp48 on July 21, 2017, 10:49:56 PM
Hi Everyone,

I'm Craig Phillips and live in Salem, Oregon.  I've recently purchased RailPro for my under-construction HO layout.  I'm modeling the Spokane International RR in '49 and maybe also '59 (post-merger with UP).  I think RailPro is definitely the future of model railroad control.  Its convertibility to dead rail and its upgradeable design is a sea change in MR control.  I've had Dynatrol, Rail Lynx, NCE , and now RailPro.  I believe I'm finally done.  Cheers all.

Craig:

Welcome! I'm a former Digitrax man and I've been clean for three years now! Are you near Salt Lake?

Welcome Craig to this forum and the wonderful world of RailPro!

The Spokane International Railroad ran into Southern British Columbia, right into my neck of the woods!

Craig welcome to this nifty group.

Missed you by six months as I moved from Eugene and decided to live where we are now.
I started with RP while in Eugene and tried to find or get someone interested as I found a lot more enjoyment without the settings using DCC. No one had a slightest interest but a few did know of RP.  You might make a connection with another RP fan in Portland as it is catching on a little there or so I have heard?

Cheers, the old fardt in HOTYuma AZ
