Title: K3LA horn
Post by: LW93Rcode on October 16, 2015, 07:40:16 AM
Here is a short video of a K3LA horn I converted into a custom sound file. I'm still waiting on a reply for permission to make it available should anyone want it.  I think it sounds ok for a first one but it isn't perfect.

The horn sounds nice from the video.  I really enjoy being able to load my own sounds, though I really need to figure out how to edit sounds to get a smooth loop.  It's very difficult to do that with a horn recording.

Hopefully you get permission to share it!

I did receive permission to share the file.  Kevin you are definitely right about the transition between the loops.  You can definitely hear it in this one.  I also have a K5LA that sounds much better thru the loops.  The downside is it is a long horn even with just a tap of the button.  I tried to shorten the loops but like you said it can get difficult.  I'll try and get a video of the K5LA up too.  I'll also see about get the files up to share if I can figure the out!

Here is the K5LA.  My opinion is it sounds much cleaner than the K3LA. The down side is no short horn.  What you hear is the shortest it plays.  Hopefully with some tinkering I can shorten the clips and not lose the nice sound.  I'm not getting my hopes up though.
