Title: Engines surging going down grade
Post by: SWA737 on January 13, 2019, 05:50:09 PM
I have a 2.5% grade going down and the majority of my engines seem to surge while about a 12 car train is in tow. Any speed or power settings in  Railpro to help out surging on downgrades? I’m afraid the problem may be my less expensive engines. Bachman sound value engines converted to RailPro.
Thanks,
Rob Cooper

Sorry that that is the best that I've got. We run nearly flat on Free-mo so I don't have any experience on running these things on a grade. I am curious to see what the solution is though.

I too have had that problem in the past and taught myself to just slow the train down before I am coming down grade just like a Real Engineer would do and it is more prototypical for Railroad modeling.
