Scale Trains with RailPro in the future?
« on: April 17, 2020, 11:02:32 AM »
Did anybody else catch that yesterday during the Scale Trains live feed?  At the 48:55min mark Shane mentions RailPro in a list of other systems currently in product development.  This would definitely be a great way to get more people interested in converting.

Well if they're going to rely on that platform then I guess I'm not going to watch the video, however if they are working on RP inclusion in their models I hope that means a 21 pin LM is in the works. We can only hope!

Some Facebook Live feeds don't require FB account to view.

His comments leads you to believe they have each manufacturers' control equipment presumably for testing their trains. I didn't hear anything that would indicate anything RailPro specific is coming from Scale Trains.

Well thats embarrassing, I see that now.  I had checked out at that point in the video and was paying attention to something else when I heard "Blah Blah Blah, Rail Pro, Blah Blah Product Development."

Sorry for any confusion.

No worries. At least it is nice to know Scale Trains recognizes RailPro.

Yep, it's great that they have even heard of it!

I spoke with Shane at the OKC Train Show back in 2016 or 2017. I was asking about locos being made available DCC/Sound Ready for alternate systems like RP and we was well versed on the product back then.
