Rail Pro site issue

(1/1)

Josephbw:
I just logged on and got the message that the Rail Pro site was not secure.
Joe

I was talking about this site, not Ring's site.
Joe

gregeusa:
Do you mean the Ring Engineering site?

https://www.ringengineering.com/RailPro.htm  ??

Or this site, the unofficial forum?

Greg

Gibs:
If you're referring to Ring Engineering then it will be your anti virus being paranoid.
Its saying that because the Ring site is not popular and its not visited very much and its certificate may even be out of date.
It can also apply to here as this site is not used much either although its certification wont be out of date.
Basically just IGNORE IT.

gregeusa:
Both this site and the ring engineering site are https and I get no certificate errors....

There is nothing wrong here, so that is why I'm trying to zero in on what his problem is...

It could be a very old computer with a bad root certificate, but it's most likely the operator's computer.
