LM-3S in the wild

(1/2) > >>

William Brillinger:
It has not been listed on the Ring Engineering site yet, but today I received my first stock of LM-3S modules.

I have very little detail about whats new about them other than that one of the input leads has been converted to a common lead and they have increased memory capacity. I believe they are otherwise functionally the same as the LM2. The pricing is also the same as the LM-2S.

Dimensions:
L 1.502" x W 0.700" x H 0.256"
or 38.12mm x 17.77mm x 6.53mm

Alan:
May want to inform Tim there is a misprint in the LED current statement. 120mA would make one very bright LED for a fraction of a second!

Oh, yup, I'll let him know!

SD90:
How much memory is on the new LM-3S?

William Brillinger:
Apparently the official announcement with all the details will come sometime next week.
