Asking for help on RPUG

(1/1)

G8B4Life:
Need help? The members of this group are willing to help solve your problem but there are a few things you can to do to help us help you.

If your experiencing a problem with RailPro itself:

* First and foremost read and understand the resources available to you, often this will help you solve the problem on your own. If there's something you don't understand or not covered in the resources available to you, that's ok, ask and we will do our best to help.

* Try to provide as much information as possible about the problem you're having; what you are experiencing, what you were doing at the time, the software versions of the hardware or software your using etc. The more information you can provide the better.

* Understand we can't always solve a problem. We have no affiliation to RailPro other than being users of the system. We have no inside knowledge of the working of the products. We may refer you to Ring Engineering for help when we can't solve a problem.

* Please don't be impatient! We are all normal people here and (hopefully) have lives away from the computer screen. We are not robots and need sleep and food and need to work to pay for the roof over our railroads just like you. You might not get an answer right away, it could be minutes, hours, or even a day (but not usually more than that).

* Don't leave us hanging! If you ask for help don't just then disappear or not respond to the help provided, nothing makes us wonder why we bothered faster than not knowing if the help provided was received and tried. If it worked or not please let us know.

Got another question like "Any ideas on installing into this model?" or "What speaker might work best in this install?", try the search box in the top right corner of the forum page. Don't hurt yourself on this one though, if you're not finding the answers you need ask away, we'll do our best to help!
