Using the quick plug on Kato -9.
« on: March 06, 2020, 08:35:09 PM »
I bought a brand new current production KATO -9, popped a speaker and a LM3s using a 9 to 8 pin connector, orange pin is on the marker position.  Train runs smooth, sound works but no lights on the mother board illuminate when the appropriate button is toggled. I will order a harness and LEDs to do the lights proper, but any ideas on why?

Thanks
Kevin

I expect the 8 pin plug is backwards. Power will still work, but the accessories will not when it's in the wrong way.

Just swapped it and tried... no joy. So I put it back and will order LEDs....
