PBM-2 Installation
« on: September 30, 2020, 07:21:06 PM »
It has been over 6 month since the PBM-2 was released, has there been any direction on the rectifier / adapter board for the LM-S(2) installation?

Installation
IMPORTANT: You must use adapter board
(sold separately) for LM-2(S) or LM-1 modules.
You do not need an adapter board for LM-3(S).
LM-3(S) can be connected as shown below.

I have looked on the railpro site for the adapter board for my LM-2(S) modules and I cannot find it mentioned or listed other than the Installation note. Where can I find the adapted board so I can figure out if it and the PBM will fit into my trio of ONWRR AS-616's.

Thank you

The adapter board is not available yet as far as I, or probably anyone, knows. Ring seems to have gone very quite since the release of the PBM-2 (pandemic related?).  Your best course of action might be to email Ring and ask when he thinks it'll be available.

While I don't have any PBM-2's (waiting for the exchange rate to significantly improve) I too am waiting to see the adapter board.

My question: "Is the adapter board for the PBM to LM2 available?"

And Tim Ring's reply: "Not at this time. It is on our to do list."
