CL-1 and RailPro HC Simulator on Windows RT tablet
« on: August 13, 2021, 02:03:10 PM »
I am looking to buy a used (resonably priced) windows tablet for operators to use running HC Simulator & CL-1 radio.

Has anyone had success in using a windows tablet?

I believe the simulator requires a scroll wheel for moving the throttle knob, maybe it works with the arrow keys as well?
but I am fairly sure it does not support touch input.

Kind of strange since Our HC-2 controllers are "touch" screen.

Maybe a Bluetooth finger mouse will work.

I will update the thread if I can get it to work.

Hi Guys, I use a Acer One 10  PC Tablet MS WIN 10. Needed a USB hub for both the Simulator and mouse. Everything works fine except the touch screen. It takes a double touch. Ask Tim Ring and he thought it should work with one touch.  Bought it at Best Buy for under $300.

So I use my Bluetooth mouse with a wheel to change setting and run the train.
