New LM-4S-G?

(1/2) > >>

G8B4Life:
This one hasn't made Ring's site yet, however the program for it appears as a download in RPA. While not a large scale modeller myself anyone have any details on it?

Following.

Something else also of interest on the update section, my PWR-56 says it has Rev 1.11 installed yet only 1.10 is available to D/L!

William Brillinger:
Official word from Ring Engineering on the LM-4S-G:

It is the same as LM-3S-G but has a operating voltage of 28 volts and absolute max of 30 volts (Higher than LM-3S-G).
It has been tested to work on USA trains 10A and 4A power supplies.

28V is great news for battery guys like me. Now I can use a 6s LIPO and get some speed out of my low geared locos.
