Confused on hooking up lights
« on: July 23, 2024, 07:18:27 PM »
I’m having trouble trouble understanding the wiring of the lights to the LM4-S-G. In looking at the diagram in manual and I think I wire one end of the lights to the 5v+ but does the other end goes to one of the light outputs with resistor there.  The part that I’m confused on is the purple wire.  Where does it come in?

I think the purple wire is used as a chuff trigger on steamers

The purple wire is an input. This can be connected to a chuff trigger on steamers as Greg mentioned. On non steam it is unused as Ring hasn't made it available for any purpose on a diesel or electric etc .
