Something I’d like to know too.  I just bought a bunch of the 4s model after inquiring if anything new was coming.  Kinda miffed that they didn’t let us know it would be obsolete.

I only learned about it because a client asked about it yesterday - It's not on the what's new page on Rings site yet, but it has replaced the LM-4S-G page already.

I'll let you know if I learn anything new.

Only reason I even heard about it was an marketing email from Ring.

One obvious difference is the LM-5S-G has 12* outputs instead of 6 on the LM-4S-G, including 2 high power outputs.

* With caveat. If you use output 11 then input is disabled. If you use output 12 then DCC mode is disabled.
