Jim,

Going by your description I'd say you already have the button as maintained so I'm going to have a wild guess that you've used the one button picture to control the dual double strobe effect that is known to give the exact issue you describe.

Are you using this picture to control the dual double strobe effect ditchlight front.png? If yes then you will get the exact same symptoms your seeing, the effect will turn off when you exit the locomotive control screen. This is a bug with the software of the HC, not with the lighting effect. Using a different button picture will "fix" the issue until Ring gets around to fixing the actual bug.

If your using a different picture, please let us know (you can take a happy snap of the button setup screen if that makes it easier).

Changing the picture solved the issue.  I never would have guessed that the button picture would affect the light function.  Thanks again.
