My laptop died a few days ago. Thinking about a chromebook. Has anyone used a chromebook to download sounds and we also use a CI-1? Nor sure how much memory I need for this.
Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave,
Sorry to hear about your computer!
Unfortunately a ChromeBook will not work, You need a Windows based pc or laptop.
ChromeBooks do not run windows.

Your question did inspire me to do some research and it looks like if you're fairly savvy, you might be able to make windows run on a chromebook, but not without some tricky hoop jumping.

Thanks. I like easy! That is why I chose Rail Pro over DCC. Will get another laptop.
