They have sound, but very limited storage capacity, so it will not hold the ultimate sound files. There is a recent update for the light files. Check the updates on RPA.

I like the idea of icons with descriptions or descriptions with no icons. Some time ago, Tim or someone else posted a nice chart of all the RP icons along with their descriptions. There's no way I would remember what they all stand for without descriptions.  :o

Tim, Iím not unhappy with the screen colors as much as I am about the delay time when going from one screen to another. Still, Iím sure we would like to see what changes you have made.

I doubt they will cease to function, but as new, larger files are released the LM-2's will not be able to accommodate them. We are seeing that already with some of the sound files. I am still using about a dozen LM-1's, mostly in steam engines. Their memory capacity is very low, comparatively speaking.

I would definitely recommend the LM-3s because it has more memory storage for files. Our site host, Bill, has new RP equipment for sale at very good prices. Click the logo at the top of the page and you'll find a link to his site.

The mask certainly is annoying, but I believe it is the first line of protection beyond staying home. Even more so than social distancing.

It's good to get home, Glenn. Been there, done that. Your new toys await. Stay safe, and get a mask.  ;)

If it is an HC-2 you can try resetting it. Using a toothpick, push it gently into the small hole on the side. If it is an HC2b you can't do that. In that case, let the battery drain fully and recharge it. If it still won't work, a call to Ring may be warranted.

Yes, check the full current load setting.  You can run the auto setting again and see if it is the same. Sometimes the setting needs to be tweaked manually when MUing the locomotive.
