Alco 539T
« on: September 23, 2023, 03:38:21 PM »
Is there a problem with the Alco 539T sound file? It seems to download an incorrect file. Is there a an alternative file?

Thank You,

Bob V.

What seems to be the problem with it? I downloaded it and it shows up as Alco 539T in RailPro Assistant and HC Simulator. I didn't load the file into a module and try it though.

I think maybe the OP meant that the sound isn't correct for an Alco 539T.  I'm not that familiar with individual Alco prime movers, so I can't give an opinion.

It's not the best file, but it is different from the ALCO 251 ULT file.

It's missing the characteristic "whistle" that ALCO S Series switchers have, at least I can't hear it on the speaker I have installed in my P2K S3...
