Motor Current problem
« on: March 13, 2021, 02:56:54 PM »
Why do I have motor current showing 2 to 4% on my mid train helpers when the lead engines have 0% motor current.

That's not a significant difference. Are you seeing problems with the helpers? It may have to do with the maximum current settings. If they are all getting along well I wouldn't worry about it.

The mid train helpers are still pushing while the lead engines are not.

Check the maximum current settings. Similar engines should have settings that are very close to each other. If necessary, you can manually change the setting in an errant locomotive, but I haven’t had to manually change those settings more than a couple times.
