Control taken away!
« on: December 20, 2021, 04:56:39 PM »
My Intermountain F3 was running fine. I unlinked it from a consist, and ran an update of the LM3-S software, not noticing it had already been updated. When I then selected the loco on the HC, its page came up but immediately prompted me that buttons had been revised and to go to Adjustments and save. I exited back to the loco page but when trying to access Adjustments, I got a message "Control taken away!" I could not acquire or re-consist it and got a "Bad lead loco" message. I tried clearing the loco from the HC and re-acquiring, but got the same messages.

Any suggestions here are gratefully accepted before I call Ring. Thanks!

It's probably just a glitch. Try unlinking any other locos that are in the consist. Then power off the system and turn it back on and try to access the LM3-S again.

Yes, seemed to be a glitch, all's well now. Thanks.
