ALCO PRIME MOVER SOUNDS

Would anyone like to opine on which Ring prime mover sounds would be best for each of the NKP locomotives, Wikipedia engine in parentheses: RS-3 (244), RS-11 (251), RSD-12 (251) and PA-I (244)?  I guess maybe the RS-11 and RSD-12 might be obvious, but what about the RS-3 and PA-1 locos?  Seems like it would have to be one of the first three options on the RailPro Assistant.

Your best option is the 251. Ring (obviously) doesn't have an actual recording for the Alco 244 prime mover listed and the Alco 539 was only a 6 cylinder and going by available information only put into the S1/2/3/4, RS-1 and some passenger unit (DL-109). The third choice in RPA (Diesel Engine) is an EMD prime mover.
