Finally have some pictures....

of my layout construction. At this point I had the walls insulated, drywall hung, ceiling pads in, clouds painted, floor insulated, and OSB down. More to follow after I make sure this works.

Now I'm jealous, going by the floor boards that space is at least 14 x 40'. Nice size.

The code tells your browser how wide to display the picture.

attachment id=1 width=750 msg=1157

id is the number of the attachment to insert
msg is the number of the message the attachment belongs to.

These 2 items together tell the software what image to place into your post.
In this case, attachment no 1 from message 1157

That is going to be a huge layout Joe. Have you drawn it out yet?

Hi Tim,
Actually the room is 62x15' with more to the right through the far door. There is also a room on the far end left side that houses my sump pumps, my RR workshop, and my staging area. The rooms on to the right of the picture will have more layout, then the mechanical room with a track going along the wall, then my exercise/electrical room, and a pass-though to another yard which will be where I was standing to take the picture.

I was wondering about the (MSG) code =24 at the end of the instruction line. The way I interpret the codes, is that the (width) adjusts the width of the image. Or did I misinterpret that?

I have to leave, will be back this evening.

That last picture was right before I had my heart surgery, then it took a couple of months before I could progress. Then I finished up the work to allow installation of the carpet.

At this point I started to attach the 2x4's to the wall in order to mount the framework to it.

In this view I have started the middle island on the far wall. You'll note the supervisor chair for when my minions need direction.  ;D

In this shot I have built the framework for the circle and also started the framing for the industrial park. The door to the right is for the bathroom I had to build. You know, old men and their  bladders.  :(

BTW, I'm the minion, but I have a couple of friends that have also helped me when I need them. I'll do more pics tonight or tomorrow when I get time.

I drew out the outline, the towns, and the general proportions. I didn't have the buildings yet when I drew it out, so I wasn't sure which buildings I would have to kitbash and didn't have the dimensions, so I basically winged it. I put down a circle of track so I could break in my engines and test them after module installations. But that is only temporary. I have now started laying permanent trackage and just put up the viewblock down the middle of the island. I have a long way to go, but I make progress every day.

You are correct, the width parameter sets the width to use to display your image, measured in pixels.
Height is automatically calculated based on the given width.

The msg=24 code is what the software uses to correlate your picture to your post.
In the case of your original post here, the msg number is 1157.
24 is the number of the "how to post an image" tutorial.

In this link you will see the msg number in use:   http://rpug.pdc.ca/index.php?topic=210.msg1157#msg1157
And this one links to the tutorial:   http://rpug.pdc.ca/index.php?topic=11.msg24#msg24
