I have had the HC 1 for 7 -8 months now and just in the last 2-3 day the charge indicator read 50 % charge, half white and half blach, The charging green arrows move toward the HC but the battery meter stays at half way charged. Any ideas, HC works fine but have not run it only a few hours. Suggestions?

Let is discharge completely by turning off the "auto screen off" setting on the HC.  Leave it on until it is completely dead.  Then plug it in and let it recharge to full.  This procedure will reset the battery level indicator and give you a much more accurate charge state.
