According to Tim in an email today he said he has several new ULT sounds coming out this summer, the new sound to be released will be a 7FDL-16 Pre-1980
Sounds like things will be good on the horizon.

Per Tim Ring,
Please hold off on telling people about the new Gevo file.  We plan to make some changes to it.

That's good news.  There were a few things on the release that weren't quite as good as a previous beta version of it.
The new idle/notch 1, however, is awesome.

Revised GEVO ULT sound up. Has the correct startup sequence. The previous GEVO ULT is now marked for LM-2S as Ring don't believe the revised sound will fit the LM-2S. If it does Tim would like to know.

I'll try it tonight on the LM-2S.  Both my ES44's are running LM-2S.  If the new one doesn't fit on the LM-2S then I won't be heartbroken without the correct startup sequence.  I'm more concerned about having the correct higher notches.

The new GEVO-ULT file does indeed fit on LM-2S modules without a problem.  Sounds good, the full startup sequence is nice and the idle is excellent.

I take it Ring still doesn't have a way to preview them yet on the website?

No, not yet.  I doubt that it's high on his priority list so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.  Would be nice though.

I would doubt it's on his list at all. My guess is that he doesn't want to do it out of fear that some one would try to use the playable sound in a sound project for some other brand of decoder, given that it'd be downright simple for him (or anyone else for that matter) to create a 1 - 2 minute recording of an LM and upload it. It's a shame really if TR feels this way, LokSound uses this method to great advantage.
