Stream Engines don't CHUG on DCC layout
« on: February 25, 2021, 03:04:14 PM »
I have LM-3S units installed on two steam engines which sound fine on my RailPro layout but will not CHUG properly when run on a DCC layout.   I have DCC disabled in both units and therefore basically just using the power off the DCC track.

Any ideas?

Thanks
John

I’m not really sure because I have not experienced that on DCC, but make sure you have the LM3-s modules updated to version 2.30.

Run your train, not your brain. Get RailPro. It's a no-brainer.

OK. I was dumb.  I selected the wrong icon for the button. A steam engine but with smoke coming from the engine.   D’ohh!

Thanks.
