LM2 misbehaving
« on: July 20, 2022, 08:36:27 AM »
I installed an LM2 with bridge rectifier and TCS Keep-Alive in my HO Atlas Master GP38. Ran normally for months. Yesterday had it as a following unit in a seven-unit consist powered by my 5-amp NCE system. When I set the throttle to zero and reversed direction, the loco moved a half inch on its own, and also when I changed direction back again. I unlinked it from the consist, and with zero throttle the motor then ran on its own until the KA drained. Also when in the seven-unit consist I got a motor over-voltage alert with no short or other occurrence. Once the loco was removed from the track and the KA drained, it ran normally.

Anyone else experience this?
