Allen McClelland had a massive stroke the other day, then went into a coma, then passed away. Allen had the V&O (Virginian & Ohio) RR that was written about and he even had some books covering the layout. I had the privilege of going to 2 of his open houses during the MNRA layout tours. Allen was a great host, and would answer any question about the layout, and the story behind the railroad.
He lived in the Dayton Ohio area.
