RPA Virtual HC

Trying to install Virtual HC on my computer and when I hit the install button I get a message that says " Error Could not create directories ". Be forewarned that when it comes to computers I am absolutely crap. I do very well with pictures and being shown what to do and am very good at following direction ( when I read ). Any assistance would be deeply appreciated. Also note that RPA is installed on the computer and it is V.4.01.

Did you run the HC Simulator installer as administrator? Right click on the installer and select "Run as Administrator". The installer needs administrator privileges to create directories in Windows.

You should have had to do this when installing RPA as well.

Tim, I’m pretty sure that I had switched over to Administrator to do the install. I’ll double check tomorrow. RPA I’m sure I was signed in as Administrator and RPA is working just fine. Could it possibly be the Firewall protection? I wouldn’t know one way or the other. I’m a Carpenter/General Contractor and Computerese hurts my brain.       Dave

Tim, just checked and made sure I was logged in as Administrator to try and install HC Simulator and no-go. Whatever you need from me information wise I will try to provide to you. Sorry i'm such crap with the computers. Also we used RPA last evening without any problems.        Dave
