Aristocraft Mallet

I'm looking to convert another steamer.  One option I'm looking at is the Aristocraft Mallet.  Is this a good candidate for a conversion?  Any bugbears I should look out for?

Weird and inconsistent wiring... are you running track power or battery?

be sure to trace out the wires that go to the power pickups on the motor blocks, and make sure they are disconnected, as well as the tender pickups.

Don't go nuts tearing stuff out, just make sure it's disconnected at some point, and do NOT trust the battery/track switch.

Yep, good advice. Aristo loved single pole switches that only isolate one rail.
