the "dry heat" thing is for real, as you know, but we midwesterners think it's a joke!
we were at an in'n'out in scottsdale last april. at lunchtime we were sitting outside at one of the tables with the rigid umbrellas. there was a nice breeze and it felt like 80 degrees. i checked my phone, and it was close to 100, but the humidity was 3%!
