Railpro Installation Database
« on: August 25, 2026, 09:32:11 AM »
I noticed on the Soundtraxx website, there is a database of various decoder engine installs, sorted by manufacturer.  (https://soundtraxx.com/reference/decoder-selector)

I wonder if Railpro of RPUG has considered putting together a similar information set. This would be very useful for people who are looking to add new engines (both old and new) to avoid surprises of "not enough room under the hood"

Yep, been thru all the postings.

Some good information and a lot of nice installations, but really light on on being able to quickly search by mfg / engine / module type / install type (drop in vs major rewire or modifications).

I guess in my case, I'm looking to be able to, in advance of purchase an engine  (new or used ), have idea what a railpro install would entail
